About Us
The Sanford Chapel is the meeting place of a nondenominational assembly of Christians. This local church is not affiliated with any conference or Council of Churches. We believe that each local church is accountable directly to the Lord, the Head of the Church. The Sanford Chapel seeks to be guided by the Word of God in all of its decisions. Those in its fellowship prefer to be known as Christians, believers, brethren, disciples, etc.
We believe in one univeral Church, the Body of Christ, members of which are united to Him, their Head in heaven, by virtue of their faith in His redemptive work on the cross of Calvary. We believe the local church should be a miniature of the Chruch universal, and that its members should gather together unto Christ an in His name alone, for the purpose of worship, prayer, ministry and evangelism.
