The Lord's Supper

Luke 22:19-20
19 And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.20 Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.

The Lord’s Supper is a meeting that is solely focused on the Lord Jesus Christ. It is an opportunity for those who believe on the Lord Jesus Christ as their savior to worship Him in thanksgiving and praise. Aspects of His person are remembered through song, scripture reading, and prayer. The emblems of bread and wine are used as He instructed, these serve as symbols representing His body which was given for us and His blood which was shed on our behalf. This meeting is the Lord’s Supper; it is not rehearsed or orchestrated by men but conducted by the leading of the Holy Spirit.

1 Corinthians 11:27-29
27 Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.29 For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body.

Anyone is welcome to attend this meeting. However, the manner in which these emblems are partaken of should be carefully considered by each of those in attendance. We would ask that anyone who does not believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, or who practices sin in their life refrain from taking of the emblems.

Bible Study

Acts 17:11
11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

The Adult Bible Study is a comprehensive study of God’s Word. This is not a devotional but an in depth study of scripture in its context. A select book of the Bible is studied verse by verse; the study leaders rotate monthly and continue until the book is complete.

Family Bible Hour

Romans 10:15-18
15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.18 But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world.

The Family Bible Hour is devoted to bringing the Word of Truth to anyone with a listening ear. The speakers in this meeting continually rotate and the subject matter is led by the Holy Spirit. More often than not the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ is clearly presented at some point within the message of the day. The teaching will often show the practical application of scripture to every day real life situations. The Family Bible Hour provides God’s answers and always points to our only hope of salvation the Lord Jesus Christ.
